USHCC Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Giveaway for Small Businesses

The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) is addressing the difficulty of small, Hispanic and minority-owned companies to have access to medical supplies during the COVID-19 pandemic, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). We’re giving away packs of critical PPE to small and minority-owned businesses in Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia. Please share information about your company to be considered for our PPE donation. Quantities are limited. Requests will be handled on a first come/first served basis while supplies last. No purchase is necessary to enter or receive a donation. Donation period: Entries will be accepted online starting on or about April 2021 and will run while supplies last. Entries that are not complete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the USHCC. You may enter only once, and you must fill in the information requested, including mandatory fields marked with an asterisk (*). If you use fraudulent methods such as registering under different email addresses or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of the USHCC. Limitation of Liability: USHCC, and its affiliated entities, directors, officers, employees, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, attorneys and assigns (collectively, “Released Parties”), make no representations whatsoever, extend no warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and assume no responsibilities whatsoever with respect to design, development, manufacture, or use or misuse of the items constituting the donated products (“Donated Items”). Furthermore, in no event shall USHCC be liable for direct, indirect, special, consequential, incidental or punitive loss, damage or expenses arising out of or in connection with the Donated Items. Waiver of Liability. By entering and/or using the Donated Items entrant and any recipient of the Donated Items agree(s) to release and hold harmless the Released Parties, from any and all claims for liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from damages for personal injury, death, property damage, any claim in tort, or any other claim, regardless of legal theory, that may hereafter accrue as a result of the use of the Donated Items. Assumption of Risk. The entire risk as to the performance or lack thereof, in whole or in part, of the Donated Items is assumed by entrant and any recipient of the Donated Items. In no event shall the Released Parties be responsible or liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential damages, lost profits, or any other economic or physical loss or damage to any individual regardless of legal theory resulting from use of the Donated Items. Indemnification. Entrant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, liability and damages, arising from, related to, or in any connected with the use of the Donated Items.
